Reaching
out for assistance
and
no one is within bounds.
Reaching
out with questions
and
no one will perceive.
Reaching
out to those we entrust with our lives
Are
only distant observers.
When
will I receive the much needed attentiveness?
When
will I qualify for the much needed resolution?
When
will those near me realize my dilemma?
Who
is to say I will be blessed
with
accurate treatment?
Who
is to say I will secure
all
the unanswered queries?
Who
is to say those we entrust
will
detect and consider our pleas?
Who
is to say?
Give
us back our dignity
to
live in this fast paced atmosphere
Give
us in return some sensitivity
to
escort us through the day.
Give
back some abandoned joys
so
as to augment more memories.
Give
us back our lives!
